Do u know what day is this? Most of the ppl probably don't know..Is the Winter Solstice Festival. Before I get into this topic, let me just tell you briefly bout today. First, badminton class in the morning. Man! I can say that this is the most tiring class. Our coach made us ran like soo many rounds around 4 courts, then we did some excercise using the gym ball and some sort of balancing thing to balance ourselves while practising the strokes.. It was toturing man! Thank God it's over, I hope that we won't do those excercise anymore.
After lunch..bout 2 sumthing, my whole family went to my siblings' sunday school for drama performance. My bro had the usher duty so he went there earlier. It was really nice, the children there really put their effort for the whole thing. It's really really satisfying. I like it alot.
Dinner, we have dishes like usual, plus one fried chicken for today cause today's the Winter Solstice Festival. But I don't really see this as an important festival. It was kinda legend according to China...On this particular day, both officials and common people will have rest. In some part of Northern China, people eat dumpling soup or dumpling on this day. They say that so will keep them from frost in the upcoming winter, which of course I think is not true.. Other than that, people will also eat tangyuan, it's a kinda stuffed small dumpling ball made of a kinda rice flour. It can be eaten with peanuts with the sugar, or redbean..that's all i know... I think...
